Whether you’ve listened to one episode or fifty, I’m deeply grateful you’ve let me into your world during your commute, in your kitchen, or on your walks.
For the past two and a half years, this podcast has been my gift to the language learning community. Every episode has been free. No ads. No sign-ups. Just Hungarian, spoken clearly, for real learners like you.
But now it’s time for something new.

So what’s changing?
The Plain Hungarian Podcast will be available through Supercast, a platform made specifically for podcasters and their listeners.
And yes, from now on, new episodes will be for members only, starting at just $5/month, with a 14-day free trial, so you can explore it risk-free.
You can still listen on your favorite app (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.), and signing up takes only a minute.
Why move to a paid model?
Because Plain Hungarian has grown.
What began as a side project for a few private students has reached over 40,000 plays in 109 countries. I’m honored and I also feel a responsibility to keep it going, to make it better, and to protect the space I’ve built.
Behind each episode is hours of planning, writing, recording, editing. I love doing it and I want to keep doing it in a way that’s sustainable, inspiring, and truly helpful for learners like you.
